VOLA 12 Slashy Days of Christmas





It's time to think about how we are going to celebrate our Holiday Season around here. The answer - why with fic, of course. Here is the challenge...



Below you will find 12 prompts for VOLA (the same 12 prompts for theOtherVOLA) - that can be claimed on a first come/first serve basis. If you are interested in writing a story for one of these prompts, comment with the prompt you are claiming below. Only one author per prompt and the first comment gets it. If you don't have an LJ acct, comment anonymously and include your yahoo name in the comment.

Rules for VOLA prompts:
• the pairing must be V/O or A/L only. If you want to write a threesome or different pairing, hop over to theOtherVOLA post and claim the prompt there.
• The story must be at least 1000 words – no upper limit, but it must be complete. No WIPs or TBCs.
• Authors may claim one prompt from both lists if they wish.
• Any rating is acceptable.
• Your story must be posted on the posting date so we have one story for each of the 12 days of Christmas. Please let us know as soon as possible if you think you aren’t going to make your deadline. If you are traveling, you can send you formatted story to the mods and we will post it for you.
• The story must be posted at the VOLA Yahoo Group, VOLA Archive, and the VOLAslash LJ. If you aren’t a member of the LJ or Yahoo group, you can send the story to the mods and we’ll post it for you.
• Fics must be uploaded to the VOLA Archive and then added to the 12 Slashy Days of Christmas Challenge. To do this, upload your story, then choose Challenges from the main menu and click on Respond to the Challenge. You will see a list of your stories. Check the story you are entering, then hit Submit.
• The dates that your story should be posted is next to the prompt. Please make sure that it is posted before midnight EST.

I'm really nervous about this, but I'd like to try Rings Reunion Party if no one else wants it. I've been meaning to try to write lotrips oh for about 5 years now.

Now, if anyone could suggest a beta I'd be really grateful.

I'm Really Sorry

I'm really sorry to have to do this, but I'm going to have to say I'm not going to make my date. (22nd) I've come down with a nasty chest infection which has me pretty much incapacitated right now and has squashed all muses.
